Dollar Tree is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in Merritt Island to support store operations, customer service and team development. You will assist with daily store activities, organize merchandise, and help supervise and train store associates to ensure a positive shopping experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Store management experience in retail/grocery/drug store helps.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and written skills are required.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers with questions or concerns in a positive manner.
• Organize and transfer merchandise between delivery, stockroom and sales floor.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Process corporate directives and update store activities.
• Maintain store fixtures, displays and promotional effectiveness.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged goods, payroll records, scheduling and cash deposits.
• Keep store areas well-stocked and organized.
• Protect store assets including cash and physical inventory.
• Ensure adherence to safety policies by staff.
