Job summary

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions/concerns.
• Organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom/sales floor; maintain seasonal areas.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Process corporate directives and communications related to store activities.
• Maintain promotional displays and fixtures to ensure effectiveness.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged merchandise, records including payroll/scheduling/cash deposits.
• Maintain a neat, well-stocked sales floor and organized stockroom per company standards.
• Protect and secure all company assets, including store cash.
• Adhere to policies, safety guidelines, and ensure associates follow procedures.
• Help Store Manager supervise, train, and develop Store Associates.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers and staff.
• Maintain cleanliness of store including bathrooms, floors, trash, and neat presentation.
• Other duties as assigned.
