Job summary

Dollar Tree in West Palm Beach is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to help with store operations, customer service and team development. This role supports day-to-day functions and staff training, ensuring a positive and efficient shopping experience for guests.

The position is part-time, requires strong communication and organizational skills, and involves supervising associates, maintaining store standards, and assisting with payroll and scheduling as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills required.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.
• Exceptional customer service and organizational skills required.
• Strong problem solving and decision-making skills required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Assist in organizing merchandise and maintaining seasonal areas.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Process directives and maintain store communications.
• Maintain promotional fixtures and displays.
• Assist in ordering merchandise and handling payroll/scheduling.
• Maintain clean, organized sales floor and stockroom.
• Protect and secure store assets, including cash.
• Enforce safety policies and supervise/train Store Associates.
• Foster a positive, safe, and respectful environment for customers and staff.
