Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a customer-focused associate in Arvada, CO to support store operations and deliver an exceptional customer experience. The role involves opening and closing the store, handling cash, and assisting with vendor deliveries and merchandising.

You will engage customers, resolve issues, and maintain accurate inventory and pricing. The position requires at least one year in a leadership or key holder role, English fluency, and may involve obtaining a PTCB certification or pharmacy

Qualifications

One year of prior leadership, supervisory, or retail key holder work experience.
Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.

Responsibilities

Open/close store in absence of management and perform start‑ups and cash handling.
Complete returns, order voids, refunds, cash drops, and provide change to registers.
Deliver a distinctive and delightful customer experience.
Engage customers, assist with products/services, resolve issues to ensure positive experience.
Assist with vendor deliveries and backroom operations; open back door when needed.
Maintain accurate inventory, pricing, and displays; perform resets and revisions.
Ensure compliance with state/local laws and bag checks; maintain store cleanliness and appearance.
Attend training and complete requested PPLs.
