Job summary

Family Dollar in Nevada seeks an Assistant Store Manager to support daily store operations, customer service, and team development. You will assist with opening and closing, merchandise flow from delivery to floor, and ensure displays are well maintained.

You will train and supervise store associates, enforce policies, protect assets, and maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for customers and staff.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Store management experience in retail or grocery is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom to sales floor and maintain seasonal areas.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Process corporate directives and store communications.
• Maintain promotional displays and store fixtures.
