Commercial Tire Inc. in Idaho is seeking an Assistant Manager Level 1 to support the Store Manager in daily store operations, driving sales, and maintaining a consistent company image. You will train staff, handle safety, inventory, and customer service, and help ensure profitability.

Qualifications

• 2 years related experience in the tire industry.
• Valid Driver’s License and insurable driving record.
• High School Diploma (or equivalent) plus some college or technical school (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Ensure all employees attend monthly safety meetings and comply with safety goals.
• Trains and supervises employees; assigns schedules and duties; resolves grievances.
• Lead store audits to ensure compliance and knowledge of all store operations.
• Complete accounting functions daily (invoices, re-bills, End-of-Days, night deposits, inventory receipts).
• Coordinate and conduct product knowledge training; participate in training workshops as directed.
• Maintain high levels of customer service and satisfaction; resolve customer complaints promptly.
• Ensure telephones are answered promptly and courteously.
• Ensure all store duties are completed and staffing aligns with volume.
• Maintain safety, hours, cleanliness and policy adherence.
• Provide knowledgeable, courteous service and respond to customer needs.
• Champion safe work practices and safety standards; support safety audits.
