Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores INC in Revere, MA is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to help with store operations, customer service and team development. You will support opening/closing, organize merchandise, and ensure shelves and stockroom meet company standards.

Qualifications

• Strong communication, interpersonal and written skills.
• Retail/store management experience preferred in grocery/retail.
• Ability to read and interpret operational directives.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Help organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom to sales floor.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Maintain promotional displays and store-front fixtures.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged merchandise, and record keeping.
• Maintain neat, stocked sales floor and organized stockroom to company standards.
• Protect and secure store assets, including cash.
• Support Store Manager in training and development of Store Associates.
