Job summary

Goodwill Easterseals Miami Valley is seeking a Store Supervisor to oversee daily store operations, including loading/unloading, cash handling, merchandising, and customer service.

You will assist the Store Manager with sales planning, budgeting, and staff training, ensuring safety, accuracy, and compliance with company policies.

The role requires flexibility, the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and a commitment to empowering employees and providing excellent service to our community.

Qualifications

• Experience with cash register procedures and banking procedures.
• Stock control and merchandising/display experience.
• Criminal background check and random drug screens are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist store manager with budgeted sales and expenses.
• Operate cash register accurately and handle payments and returns.
• Perform banking procedures and reconcile daily statements.
• Train and supervise store staff in retail procedures.
• Display and model excellent customer service.
• Maintain store housekeeping, safety, and security.
• Stock, display and inventory duties.
• Process merchandise orders and coordinate transportation requests.
• Work a flexible schedule to meet store needs.
• Follow dress code and set a professional example.
• Encourage empowerment and continuous improvement within the store.
