Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a Store Manager to lead operations for a Walgreens store and its pharmacy, driving sales, profitability, and a distinctive customer and patient experience through effective merchandising, asset protection, and staff development.

You will supervise daily planning, inventory, staffing, training, and compliance with laws, while delivering exceptional service and ensuring smooth performance across retail and pharmacy tasks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in management or a related field.
• 3 years of retail management experience or 5 years with a HS diploma/GED.
• Licensed pharmacy technician as required by state law OR willing to obtain.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule including extended days, evenings, and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Oversee store and pharmacy operations, including opening/closing, scheduling, and cash handling.
• Drive sales and profitability through effective merchandising and promotions.
• Provide coaching, performance feedback and development plans for team members.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable laws.
