Job summary

Southeast LBM Holdco LLC is seeking a General Manager to oversee operations across one or more store locations in a given market, focusing on inventory control, sales performance and profitability. The role requires leading staff, implementing policies, and coordinating with regional leadership to drive growth while ensuring excellent service and safety standards.

The candidate will manage budgets, supervise multiple departments, and collaborate with vendors and customers to optimize operations

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business or related field.
• 4 years of related work experience in lumber/building materials is required.
• Knowledge/experience in building materials, procurement, inventory management, and supervision of people.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the overall management of all aspects of the location, including production, sales, customer service, inventory management, delivery, safety and administrative activities.
• Plan and direct functions to meet operational and financial goals for the location.
• Collaborate with local and senior management to develop operating budgets and capital expenditure recommendations for location(s).
• Communicates and enforces operating policies and procedures, as well as other compliance requirements as they pertain to daily operations.
• Motivates employees, maintains a productive workforce, and trains other managers.
• Supports and reinforces company safety initiatives to ensure compliance with OSHA and DOT requirements and promotes a healthy work environment.
