Job summary

Family Dollar Stores Of Georgia LLC in Martinez, GA is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service and team development. You will assist with daily store activities, help customers, transfer merchandise from delivery to floor, and maintain seasonal displays.

This role requires strong communication, leadership and reliability in a fast-paced retail environment, with a focus on safety, accuracy in payroll and scheduling, and ensuring a clean, welcoming store

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Retail/store management experience preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner.
• Transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom and sales floor and maintain seasonal areas.
• Perform opening and closing procedures.
• Process corporate directives and maintain displays.
• Maintain promotional fixtures and store-wide cleanliness and organization.
• Assist in ordering, damaged merchandise processing, payroll/scheduling, and cash handling.
• Supervise, train, and develop store associates.
• Maintain a safe, positive, and respectful environment for customers and team members.
• Other duties as assigned.
