Lowe’s is offering a 10-week Summer Internship Program based at our headquarters in Mooresville, North Carolina. The Store Operations Corporate Facilities Intern will support day-to-day facilities operations, coordinate maintenance requests, and analyze store-level data to improve facilities support across Lowe’s 1,700+ locations.

Your Impact

As a Store Operations Corporate Facilities Intern, you’ll gain valuable experience supporting the day‑to‑day operations that ensure Lowe’s stores remain safe, functional, and customer‑ready. Working alongside our Retail Facilities and Store Operations teams, you’ll assist in coordinating maintenance requests, tracking vendor activity, and analyzing store‑level data to help improve facilities support across our 1,700+ locations. This role is ideal for someone interested in operations, facilities coordination, and gaining insight into how Lowe’s keeps its stores running efficiently behind the scenes.

What You Will Learn

• Develop dashboards and reports that support internal business teams, with a focus on creating clear, actionable insights for non-technical users.
• Query and transform data from multiple sources, and gain experience building efficient ETL pipelines that prepare datasets for reporting and analysis.
• Explore automation tools to streamline repetitive reporting or data prep tasks, building small‑scale solutions that reduce manual effort.
• Understand the operational areas supported and practice translating technical findings into recommendations that business stakeholders can act on.
• Gain introductory experience with advanced analytics techniques to see how they can add value beyond standard reporting.
• Serve as a connector between business and IT, including facilitation of requests, proposals of alternatives, and navigating organizational processes.

Minimum Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Statistics or a related field.
• Expected graduation dates of December 2027 or May 2028.

Preferred Skills/Experience

• 3.0 cumulative GPA or higher.
• Proficiency with BI tools (PowerBI, Tableau, etc) and data analytics.
• Foundational knowledge of SQL and databases, and ability to write simple queries.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with curiosity to explore data.
• Comfort working with data and learning internal platforms.
• Experience in a leadership position at work or within a campus organization is a plus.
