Job summary

CarMax, the nation’s largest retailer of used cars, is seeking a Business Operations Associate at our Glencoe, IL store. You will support store operations, handle sales and appraisal paperwork, and ensure accurate cash management while delivering excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, interpret, and record data accurately.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills in a deadline-driven environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data entry systems.

Responsibilities

• Deliver outstanding customer service by greeting customers and guiding them through paperwork.
• Process and audit paperwork for retail and wholesale sales, including deal jackets and contracts.
• Manage auction and appraisal transactions with accurate titles and funding documentation.
• Handle cash management tasks, including deposits and security protocols.
• Train and mentor new associates and support store operations across departments.
• Perform clerical duties such as filing, data entry, and reconciliation of missing information.
• Follow EH&S requirements and maintain a clean, orderly work area.
