Job summary

Walmart is seeking a Store Leader in La Place, LA to drive sales and develop high-performing teams. You will teach and guide associates, monitor operations, and implement changes using data insights to improve the customer experience.

Emphasis is placed on leadership, coaching, and adherence to Walmart's One Best Way service model. The role focuses on operational excellence, financial performance, and creating a welcoming workplace where every associate can grow.

Qualifications

• 2 years’ of college; OR 1 year’s retail experience and 1 year’s supervisory experience; OR 2 years’ general work experience and 1 year’s supervisory experience.
• For facilities that sell firearms, CBC and Firearms Authorized Training.
• Associates will be required to attend and successfully complete all job-required trainings and assessments (e.g. Academy trainings, Open Door trainings).

Responsibilities

• Leads and develops teams by training and actively listening to associates, providing feedback.
• Ensures customer service standards and resolves customer issues.
• Drives store financial performance through budgeting, forecasting and controlling expenses.
• Mentors hourly associates, assigns duties and promotes belonging.
• Models Walmart values and Open Door Policy in daily operations.
