Job summary

Solomon Page partners with a well-known consumer retail organization in Columbus, OH to hire a Store Operations Specialist. This role supports store openings, associate engagement programs, and in-store events, coordinating with cross-functional teams and external partners.

The position is 40 hours per week, onsite in Columbus, with a duration from August 24, 2026 through November 27, 2026. Ideal candidates have 2–3 years in event planning or project coordination and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of experience in event planning, meeting planning, or project coordination.
• Strong project management and organizational skills with ability to multitask.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; able to work with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Manage project plans, timelines, milestones, and deliverables for store engagement initiatives and events.
• Coordinate all event logistics for store grand openings, including vendor management and on-site execution support.
• Monitor event budgets, track expenses, and maintain accurate project documentation.
• Communicate project updates, meeting recaps, timelines, and milestones to stakeholders and partners.
• Build and maintain relationships with cross-functional teams, suppliers, and external vendors.
• Support associate engagement programs and pilot consumer-facing store events.
• Ensure projects are executed on time, within scope, and aligned with business objectives.
