STORE/NIGHT LEAD CLERK (Finance)

Direct and supervise all functions, duties, and activities for the department. Support the day-to-day functions of the Grocery operations. Minimum Requirements:

• Effective communication skills
• Knowledge of basic math (counting, addition, and subtraction)

• Monitor and control department expenses
• Assist store management in preparing budgets, profit and loss reviews, and take appropriate actions on financial reports
• Maintain awareness of inventory and stocking conditions; note discrepancies
• Schedule price changes by updating shelf tags and promotional signs
• Organize and supervise inventory processes
• Train associates on inventory/stocking and Computer Assisted Ordering
• Adhere to all food safety regulations and guidelines
• Maintain proper temperatures in cases and coolers and keep logs
• Reinforce safety programs, comply with safety procedures, and address unsafe conditions
• Practice preventive maintenance and inspect equipment regularly
• Report customer or employee accidents and safety issues
• Report all safety risks, illegal activities, including robbery, theft, or fraud
