STORE/NIGHT LEAD CLERK (Finance)

Minimum Requirements:
- Effective communication skills
- Knowledge of basic math (counting, addition, and subtraction)
- Ability to handle stressful situations
Desired Qualifications:
- High school education or equivalent preferred
- Management experience preferred
- Grocery experience
- Retail experience

- Promoting trust and respect among associates

- Developing adequate scheduling to manage customer volume during hours of operation
- Training and developing associates and participating in performance appraisals

- Maintaining knowledge of products and assisting customers with inquiries and suggestions
- Offering product samples and informing customers of specials
- Developing and implementing a department business plan and sales promotions
- Preparing seasonal critiques and executing promotional plans
- Monitoring expenses and assisting with budget and financial reviews
- Managing inventory, stock conditions, and inventory processes
- Updating shelf tags and promotional signage regularly
- Training staff on inventory and computer-assisted ordering systems
- Ensuring compliance with food safety regulations and maintaining proper temperatures
- Reinforcing safety programs and reporting unsafe conditions or incidents
- Performing equipment inspections and notifying management of repairs
- Reporting safety risks, illegal activities, and accidents
