STORE/NIGHT CLERK (Finance)

Assist the department manager in reaching sales and profit goals established for the department and monitor all established quality assurance standards. Minimum requirements:

  • Ability to handle stressful situations
  • Basic math skills (counting, addition, subtraction)
  • Effective communication skills

Preferred qualifications:

  • Retail experience
  • Second language skills (speaking, reading, or writing)

Responsibilities include:

  • Promoting trust and respect among colleagues
  • Creating a welcoming environment for customers by answering questions and making product suggestions
  • Gaining knowledge of products and informing customers about specials
  • Checking product quality and freshness, reviewing sell-by dates, and taking appropriate actions
  • Labeling, stocking, and inventory management
  • Reporting discrepancies and safety issues
  • Maintaining safety and food safety standards, including temperature logs
  • Performing preventive maintenance and reporting repairs
  • Reporting accidents, safety risks, and illegal activities
  • Performing essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation
