Responsibilities

• Promote trust and respect among associates
• Create an environment where customers feel welcome, important, and appreciated by answering questions about products sold within the department and store-wide
• Maintain knowledge of products and respond to customer inquiries with suggestions
• Recommend grocery items and inform customers of specials
• Check product quality, review sell-by dates, and ensure freshness
• Label, stock, and inventory department merchandise; provide customers with ordered products
• Report discrepancies in product ordering/shipping to the manager
• Maintain a positive attitude
• Stay informed about current and upcoming promotions and ads
• Adhere to all food safety regulations and guidelines
