Job summary

Five Below, Inc. is seeking a capable store manager to lead daily operations in Towson, MD. You will oversee receiving, merchandising, cash handling, and staff supervision to ensure a fast, friendly shopping experience.

The role emphasizes guest service, training, and adherence to corporate standards while driving sales and controlling expenses. A minimum 2 years of management experience and a high school graduate are required; flexibility to work days, weekends, and holidays is expected.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or equivalent.
• College experience preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of management experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversees the receiving, unpacking, and organizing of new stock to ensure items are quickly and efficiently placed on the sales floor.
• Manages the setup and maintenance of displays for specific store sections, ensuring signage is accurate and promotions are highlighted.
• Manages the opening or closing of the store, including cash, locks, alarms, and daily operations.
• Acts as Manager on Duty when needed, taking full responsibility for store operations, staff, and customer service.
• Helps oversee the daily activities of all store associates, ensuring effective performance and service.
• Supports onboarding and ongoing training of associates on policies, product knowledge, and procedures.
• Drives store sales and controls expenses by optimizing merchandising, staff performance, and customer service.
• Executes the market plan by arranging products and signage according to corporate guidelines and updates promotions.
• Ensures the Inventory Integrity process is executed.
