Job summary

Five Below in Oceanside, CA is hiring an hourly Store Manager on Duty at $19.90 per hour. You will oversee opening/closing, cash handling, merchandising, and staff coordination to deliver a WOW shopping experience.

Requirements include a High School graduate (College experience preferred), at least 2 years of management, excellent verbal/written communication, multi-tasking, and the ability to stay composed under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Oversees the receiving, unpacking, and organizing of new stock to ensure items are quickly and efficiently placed on the sales floor.
• Manages the setup and maintenance of displays for specific store sections, ensuring signage is accurate and promotions are properly highlighted.
• Manages opening/closing procedures including cash, doors, alarms, and daily readiness.
• Acts as Manager on Duty, taking full responsibility for store operations and staff management.
• Helps oversee daily activities of store associates and provide excellent customer service.
• Supports onboarding and ongoing training of associates on policies, product knowledge, and procedures.
• Drives store sales and controls expenses by optimizing merchandising and service.
• Executes the market plan, arranges products and signage per corporate guidelines, and ensures Inventory Integrity.
