Job summary

Five Below Inc. is seeking a Store Manager to lead store operations in Oceanside, CA. You will oversee receiving, displays, opening/closing, and staff management to ensure exceptional customer service and smooth daily operations.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or equivalent is required.
• College experience preferred as a plus.
• Minimum 2 years of management experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Creative thinking and composure under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Oversees receiving, unpacking, and organizing new stock for quick placement on the sales floor.
• Sets up and maintains displays, ensuring accurate signage and promotions per guidelines.
• Manages opening/closing the store, secures cash, locks doors, and enables daily operations.
• Acts as Manager on Duty when needed, supervising staff, customer service, and urgent issues.
• Oversees daily activities of store associates and ensures performance and service standards.
• Supports onboarding and ongoing training of associates on policies and procedures.
• Drives sales and controls expenses by optimizing merchandising and staff performance.
• Executes market plan with products and signage per corporate guidelines and updates promotions.
• Ensures Inventory Integrity processes are followed.
