Job summary

The Michaels Companies, Inc. is seeking a Merchandise Manager at Michaels Stores in Braintree, MA. The role drives merchandising and operational execution, including truck processing, inventory routines, planogram sets, and visual standards to ensure a customer-ready store environment.

You will lead pricing accuracy, promotional execution, and Store‑in‑Stock optimization while developing team members and ensuring SOP compliance. Evening/weekend shifts are required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years retail leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead store merchandising and operational execution, including truck processing and planogram sets.
• Ensure pricing accuracy and timely promotional execution.
• Provide Manager-on-Duty coverage and maintain store leadership and service standards.
• Oversee truck execution, inbound flow, and stock replenishment to sales floor.
• Plan workload and prioritize daily tasks with store leadership to align staffing.
• Maintain in-stock levels via Store-In-Stock Optimization routines.
• Oversee Planogram execution and visual merchandising standards.
• Manage inventory control, shrink reduction, and compliance with procedures.
• Execute ad sets, pricing changes, and ship-from-store fulfillment.
• Train and develop team members through onboarding and ongoing coaching.
