Job summary

The Michaels Companies Inc. in Wareham, MA is seeking a Merchandise Manager who will drive merchandising and store operations, including truck processing, inventory routines, and planogram execution.

You will ensure accurate pricing, timely promotions, and a customer-ready environment, while leading a team and coordinating with store leadership to meet business needs. This role requires hands-on leadership in a fast-paced retail setting, with nights and weekends as part of the schedule.

Qualifications

• 3+ years retail leadership experience.
• Experience with SOPs and company programs to ensure compliance.
• Experience with inventory, planograms, pricing, and promotional execution.

Responsibilities

• Lead truck execution, unloading, sorting, and flow of merchandise to the sales floor.
• Own workload planning and daily task prioritization with store leadership.
• Execute Store-In-Stock Optimization routines to drive in-stock levels and replenishment accuracy.
• Oversee Planogram (POG) execution and visual merchandising standards.
• Support a clean, organized, and customer-ready store environment, including backroom operations.
• Manage inventory integrity, stock movement, and shrink reduction initiatives.
• Drive adherence to pricing accuracy, promotional signage, and ad set execution.
• Oversee Ship from Store fulfillment and RTV/ASN processes with proper documentation.
