Job summary

Five Below in Stoneham, MA is seeking an energetic Store Manager to lead daily store operations and deliver outstanding guest service. You will oversee receiving, merchandising, opening/closing, and staff supervision, ensuring compliance with company standards and safety policies.

In this role you will train and coach associates, drive sales through effective merchandising and customer interactions, and implement the market plan in collaboration with the Store Manager.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of management experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task and work a flexible schedule.

Responsibilities

• Oversees the receiving, unpacking, and organizing of new stock to ensure items are quickly and efficiently placed on the sales floor.
• Manages the setup and maintenance of displays for specific store sections, ensuring signage is accurate and promotions are properly highlighted.
• Manages the entire process of opening or closing the store, which includes securing cash, locking doors, setting alarms, and ensuring everything is in place for a smooth daily operation.
• Acts as Manager on Duty when needed, taking full responsibility for store operations, staff management, customer service, and addressing any urgent issues.
• Helps oversee the daily activities of all store associates, ensuring they are performing their duties effectively and providing excellent customer service.
• Drives store sales and controls expenses: Actively seeks ways to boost sales by optimizing merchandising, staff performance, and customer service.
• Executes the market plan by arranging products and signage according to corporate guidelines, ensuring promotional materials are displayed properly and updated regularly.
