Job summary

Five Below is seeking an energetic store leader in Lincoln, NE to oversee daily operations, drive sales, and manage staff. This hourly role involves opening/closing duties, cash handling, and ensuring displays reflect promotions per corporate guidelines.

Ideal candidates have at least 2 years of management experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced retail environment. Flexible scheduling and weekend shifts are required.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Oversees the receiving, unpacking, and organizing of new stock to ensure items are quickly and efficiently placed on the sales floor.
• Manages the setup and maintenance of displays for specific store sections, ensuring signage is accurate and promotions are properly highlighted, following corporate guidelines for resets and seasonal updates.
• Manages opening or closing the store, including securing cash, locking doors, setting alarms, and ensuring smooth daily operation.
• Acts as Manager on Duty when needed, taking full responsibility for store operations, staff management, customer service, and urgent issues.
• Helps oversee daily activities of all store associates and provides excellent customer service.
• Supports onboarding and ongoing training of associates on store policies, product knowledge, and procedures.
• Drives store sales and controls expenses by optimizing merchandising, staff performance, and customer service.
• Executes the market plan by arranging products and signage per corporate guidelines and maintains Inventory Integrity.
