Job summary

The Michaels Companies, Inc. seeks a Merchandise Manager - Store in Lakeland, FL to lead merchandising and store operations. You will manage truck processes, pricing integrity, planogram execution, and visual standards to present a customer-ready environment.

You will own workload planning, inventory routines, and SOP adherence, guiding teams to meet in-stock, promotional, and service goals in a fast-paced retail setting.

Qualifications

• 3+ years retail leadership experience.
• Experience in planogram and merchandising standards.
• Willingness to work nights, weekends, and early mornings.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager in enforcing SOPs and company programs.
• Ensure policies, store conditions, and results meet standards.
• Provide MOD coverage to maintain floor leadership and service.
• Oversee truck execution for unloading and merchandising flow.
• Plan workload and daily tasks with store leadership.
• Execute in-stock optimization routines to improve stock levels.
• Manage planogram execution and visual merchandising standards.
• Support inventory control and stock movement integrity.
• Coordinate ad sets, pricing changes, and store promotions.
• Oversee Ship from Store fulfillment and RTV/ASN processes.
• Handle store damages procedures and shrink reduction.
