Job summary

The Michaels Companies, a leading arts and crafts retailer, is seeking a Merchandise Manager in Highlands Ranch, CO. The role focuses on merchandising and operational execution, including truck processing, inventory routines, planogram sets, and visual standards to ensure pricing accuracy and timely promotions.

Responsibilities include managing truck flow, planogram implementation, Ship from Store, RTVs/ASN, and backroom organization.

Qualifications

• 3+ years retail leadership experience.
• Ability to lift, carry, push and pull merchandise and fixtures up to 25–50 pounds.
• Availability for nights, weekends and early mornings.
• Legal eligibility to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support Store Manager in SOPs and Company programs to ensure compliance.
• Oversee truck execution, unloading, sorting, and flow of merchandise to sales floor.
• Manage Store-In-Stock Optimization routines for in-stock and replenishment accuracy.
• Oversee Planogram (POG) execution and visual merchandising to company standards.
• Maintain pricing integrity with timely price changes across sales floor and systems.
• Oversee Ship from Store fulfillment and ensure accurate, timely orders.
• Process RTVs and ASN receiving with proper documentation and inventory adjustments.
• Manage store damages procedures to reduce shrink and ensure proper reporting.
• Train and coach team members through onboarding and ongoing skills development.
