Job summary

The Michaels Companies is seeking a Merchandising Manager in Apple Valley, MN to drive merchandising execution, pricing accuracy, and in-store presentation. You will manage truck processing, inventory routines, planogram sets, and visual standards to ensure a customer-ready store environment.

You will lead workload planning, SOP adherence, and store operations, while coaching team members and coordinating with store leadership to meet business needs.

Qualifications

• 3+ years retail leadership experience.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform store-floor tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager in leading and managing SOPs and company programs to ensure compliance.
• Lead truck execution, unloading, sorting and floor flow to ensure readiness.
• Plan workload and daily tasks with store leadership to align staffing with business needs.
• Oversee in-stock optimization, replenishment, and sales readiness (SISO).
• Oversee Planogram (POG) execution and visual merchandising standards.
• Maintain a clean, organized store, including backroom and floor recovery.
• Manage inventory accuracy, stock movement, and RTV/ASN processes.
• Train, coach, and develop team members across departments.
