Staples is hiring Merchandising & Inventory Supervisors to oversee store inventory controls, merchandising and customer service on the sales floor. You will lead by example, coach teammates, and ensure accurate stock levels while delivering an exceptional shopping experience.

Qualifications

• Flexible schedule based on store needs.
• Understanding of merchandising and retail operations.
• Experience managing/coaching a team or supervising others.
• Ability to engage customers and understand their needs.
• Ability to multitask with limited supervision.
• Ability to lift/push/pull 100 pounds, climb ladders, stand/walk.
• Ability to work in a high-paced, sometimes stressful environment.
• Conflict management in a cooperative, nonconfrontational manner.
• Honesty and integrity regarding customer and business information.
• Preferred: key holder experience in retail.

Responsabilités

• Process inventory controls: Zero Balance, Return to Vendor, Return to Warehouse, Cross Channel Returns, Reserve online pick up in store
• Unload trucks, sort, stock, and maintain stock levels
• Execute weekly planograms and seasonal promo merchandising changeover
• Deliver exceptional customer service
• Engage customers with basic selling skills and present solutions
• Provide an inviting environment by maintaining a neat and clean store
• Perform front end duties: cashier, returns, and online reservations
• Provide store leadership when scheduled as the Manager on Duty
• Be flexible to perform other duties as assigned
