Michaels in Webster, TX is seeking a Merchandise Manager to drive merchandising and store operations, including truck processing, inventory routines, planogram sets, and visual standards.

You will ensure accurate pricing, timely promotions, and a customer-ready environment through strong workload planning, inventory control, and staff development.

This role leads core store activities, partners with leadership to meet business goals, and enforces SOPs and asset protection measures.

Qualifications

• 3+ years retail leadership experience.
• Ability to lead and manage SOPs and company programs.
• Experience with planogram sets and visual standards.
• Strong workload planning and inventory control.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager in leading SOPs and company programs.
• Ensure pricing accuracy and timely promotional execution.
• Provide Manager-on-Duty coverage and floor leadership.
• Lead truck execution, unloading, sorting, and flow to sales floor.
• Own workload planning and daily task prioritization with store leadership.
• Execute Store-In-Stock Optimization routines for in-stock levels.
• Oversee Planogram execution and visual merchandising standards.
• Maintain customer-ready store environment and backroom organization.
• Manage inventory control, shrink reduction, and stock movement.
• Execute ad sets, price changes, and ship-from-store fulfillment.
• Process RTVs and ASN receiving with proper documentation.
• Train and develop team members; uphold Asset Protection practices.
