The Michaels Companies Inc. in Wilkes-Barre, PA is seeking a Merchandise Manager to drive merchandising and operational execution across stock, pricing, promotions, and visual standards.

You will lead truck processing, inventory routines, planogram sets, and ensure a customer-ready store environment. You will train and coach team members, manage in-stock levels, execute ad sets and price changes, oversee Ship from Store, RTVs and ASN, and partner with store leadership to optimize staffing and

Qualifications

• 3+ years retail leadership experience
• Ability to stand for long periods and move around the store
• Willing to work nights, weekends and early mornings
• Lift up to 25-50 pounds with/without accommodation

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise adherence to SOPs and company programs
• Ensure execution of policies and standards
• Provide Manager-on-Duty coverage and store leadership
• Lead truck execution, unload and merchandise flow
• Plan workload and align staffing with business needs
• Maintain in-stock levels and replenishment accuracy
• Oversee Planogram execution and visual merchandising
• Support a clean, organized store environment
• Manage inventory accuracy and stock movement
• Execute ad sets and price changes on time
• Oversee Ship from Store fulfillment and RTV/ASN processes
• Manage damages procedures and shrink reduction
• Train and develop team members across departments
• Partner on asset protection and safety practices
