Job Description:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The associate is responsible for the following duties, in addition to other tasks as assigned:

1. Follow established procedures for receiving, unloading shipments, pricing, and stocking to ensure quality, protection, accuracy, and proper product rotation.
2. Maintain a safe and clean work environment in compliance with safety and sanitation standards set by the company and regulatory agencies.
3. Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal weights, measures, and labeling laws.
4. Greet customers and take their orders.
5. Cut, tray, and package meat and seafood products as required for the day.
6. Practice proper safety measures, including using mesh gloves when handling knives and other cutting accessories.
7. Participate in pre-inventory preparations, including back stock management and matching tags to products.
8. Assist in other departments as needed.

Supervisory Responsibilities

This position currently does not have supervisory responsibilities.

Qualification Requirements

To perform this job successfully, the associate must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily, with or without accommodations. Requirements include:

• High School diploma or GED, plus two years of experience in a retail environment, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
