Job summary

ALDI USA is looking for a Store Manager Trainee to learn how to run a store through hands-on leadership experience, overseeing operations, merchandising, customer service and staff development in a fast-paced environment.

You will gain exposure to scheduling, budgeting, compliance, and store standards while training across multiple locations. Starting wage is $31.75 per hour with earning potential as you advance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior experience in a retail environment and prior management experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead store personnel and communicate expectations to direct reports to ensure desired results; lead and develop store personnel.
• Develop and implement action plans using company resources to improve operating results.
• Oversee resolution of employee and customer concerns, in coordination with the district manager as needed.
• Interview candidates for store positions and provide recommendations for advancement to the district manager.
• Manage personnel, including recommending advancement and termination as appropriate.
• Communicate and cooperate with ALDI personnel, customers, vendors and partners to maintain smooth operations.
• Lead and supervise the team to drive sales, engage staff, satisfy customers and achieve high performance.
• Plan and oversee execution of the company strategy while modeling core values and fostering teamwork.
