Job summary

Farmers Home Furniture in the United States is seeking a Store Manager Trainee to join a structured, up to 20-week paid training program. You'll learn leadership, sales, store operations, and customer experience with the goal of running your own store within 9 to 12 months after training.

Training takes place at our Corporate Office in Dublin, GA and in a local retail location. Successful trainees progress to permanent Store Manager roles as opportunities arise.

Qualifications

• Minimum three years of supervisory retail or sales experience.
• High school diploma or GED required; travel may be overnight.
• Must possess and maintain a valid State Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

• Completes all Farmers Academy training and Thrive program rotations and required documentation.
• Assists in day-to-day store operations including sales, credit, collections, warehouse, and office functions.
• Operates and demonstrates proficiency in the company’s point of sale systems and related tools.
• May be required to travel to multiple training locations and occasional stores.
