Job summary

ALDI is seeking motivated individuals for the Store Manager Trainee program in the United States. You will develop leadership skills to run your own store while delivering outstanding customer service and maintaining a positive work environment.

You will work with experienced leaders to drive sales, operational excellence, and a strong culture of simplicity and responsibility. Starting wage is $27.25 per hour with full-time hours (about 45 per week).

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old requirement.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior retail management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop store personnel; communicate expectations.
• Develop and implement action plans to improve operating results.
• Oversee resolution of employee and customer concerns with district manager guidance.
• Interview candidates and recommend for advancement.
• Train and develop store personnel using provided materials.
• Ensure compliance with policies and procedures; maintain safety and ergonomic standards.
• Prepare, manage and revise weekly schedules; manage expenses and inventory.
• Attend district calls and store meetings to align on KPIs and budgets.
