Job summary

Walgreens is offering an accelerated development program to prepare associates for Store Manager roles. The program includes gaining in-depth knowledge of front-end and pharmacy operations, completing rotations across stores, and participating in formal classroom and on-the-job training with ongoing coaching from Store and District Managers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 3 years retail management experience OR High School Diploma/GED and 5 years of retail management experience.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English (Except in Puerto Rico).
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including extended days, evenings, and weekend hours.
• Willingness to accept assignment into a Store Manager position if offered.
• Willingness to transfer to other Walgreens retail assets located within the same hiring Area.

Responsibilities

• Oversee front-end and pharmacy operations under Store Manager direction.
• Shadow Store Manager to gain experience and supervise store team during learning journey.
• Lead customer experience improvements and coaching to meet service metrics.
• Analyze store performance and contribute to plans to grow sales and manage costs.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, SOPs, and regulatory requirements.
