Job summary

FirstCash is seeking a Store Manager Trainee in Texas to support daily operations under the Store Manager and develop leadership skills. You will supervise staff, recruit and retain talent, and drive store performance while maintaining a customer-centric environment.

The role offers an hourly wage with commission on productivity and a performance bonus. Six months of store management experience and a flexible weekend schedule are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year retail management experience
• Willing to work a flexible retail schedule including weekends
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
• Store Manager Trainee will work 45+ hours per week

Responsibilities

• Facilitate a customer-centric environment by engaging customers in a friendly and professional manner and addressing issues quickly
• Recruit top talent by sourcing candidates
• Open and close the store, manage cash, and protect assets
• Ensure asset protection through inventory control and procedures
• Administer store processes including inventory, loans, merchandising, and reporting
• Drive profitability by reviewing store financial statements and achieving goals
