Job summary

KnitWell Group's WHBM Birmingham store is seeking a Store Manager to lead a passionate team, foster a welcoming customer experience, and drive sales. You will coach associates, manage daily operations, and ensure store standards reflect our hospitality culture.

You will own payroll, scheduling, visual merchandising, and community engagement while building strong connections with customers and partners. The role requires 5+ years in retail management (2 in store manager) and flexible availability.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of retail management experience required; 2 of those years in a Store Manager position.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Flexible availability — nights, weekends, holidays.
• Demonstrates ownership mindset and leads by example.
• Strong business acumen and ability to drive results through reporting and planning.

• Hire, develop and coach an effective retail team to deliver a customer-centered experience.

About the role

As Store Manager, you lead the team, build community connections, and shape a seamless customer experience. You’ll bring to the role

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• 5+ years of retail management experience required; 2 of those years in a Store Manager position.
• Flexible availability — including nights, weekends, holidays.

• Ability to bend, reach, stretch for products as well as maneuver around the sales floor and stockroom, operate the register, and lift/carry up to 50 pounds.
