Job summary

White House | Black Market, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Manager to partner with the Store Manager in building a high-performing team and delivering an exceptional customer experience.

You will lead by example on the sales floor, mentor associates, and ensure brand standards across the store while driving financial results and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• 3 years of retail management experience preferred.
• Flexible availability — including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to bend, reach, stretch for products as well as maneuver around the sales floor and stockroom, operate the register, and lift/carry up to 50 pounds.

• Assist in the hiring, development, and coaching of associates.

• Take ownership to ensure safe and efficient store operations including inventory management, daily replenishment of floor merchandise, and execution of inventories.
• Ensure compliance with all policies, guidelines, and business practices.
• Build community connections through in-store company-sponsored events, philanthropy, and other initiatives.
