About the Role:
The Store Manager is responsiblefor the overall performance and daily operations of the store. This role leadsand develops a high-performing team, drives sales and profitability, deliversexceptional customer service, and ensures operational excellence. The StoreManager provides coaching, training, and accountability while fostering aculture of teamwork, continuous improvement, and results. This position reportsdirectly to the District Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, develop, andinspire a high-performing team focused on delivering exceptional customerservice and business results.
- Drive store sales,profitability, and operational performance while maintaining accountability forkey business metrics.
- Recruit, onboard,train, coach, and develop team members to build a strong talent pipeline andsupport succession planning.
- Foster a culture ofaccountability by setting clear expectations, providing regular feedback, andmanaging performance effectively.
- Ensure consistentexecution of operational standards, merchandising requirements, and storepresentation guidelines.
- Oversee inventorymanagement processes and controls to minimize shrinkage and maintain productavailability.
- Manage store labor andexpenses, including scheduling, timecard approvals, and cost controlinitiatives.
- Partner with HumanResources on hiring, employee relations, coaching, corrective action, andtalent development activities.
- Ensure compliance withcompany policies and maintain a safe, secure, and productive work environment.
- Lead continuousimprovement efforts to enhance operational efficiency, team effectiveness, andthe overall customer experience.
About You:
The ideal candidate will have thefollowing knowledge, skills, and abilities:
- HighSchool Degree or equivalent; college degree in business administrationpreferred.
- Aminimum of 3 years’ experience working in a retail environment, ideally in a managerialrole. Automotive after-market serviceindustry preferred.
- Knowledgeand understanding of cataloging and/or inventory management systems.
- Strongsupervisory, organizational, and communication skills.
- Relatewell with and interact with all levels of the organization.
- Learnand adapt to current technology needs.
- Microsoft Office Suite proficiency
- Manageworkload and prioritize tasks independently and with a team.
- Experienceworking cross functionally and gaining consensus to make informed decisions andrecommendations.
- Occasionallyrequired to drive on behalf of the company; must possess and maintain acurrent, valid driver’s license.
Essential Physical Requirements
- Scan,handle and move merchandise efficiently and safely, including frequentlylifting or moving merchandise up to 15 pounds and occasionally lifting ormoving merchandise up to 60 pounds.
