At Midas, we are dedicated to providing quality service to customer vehicles in the areas of inspection, diagnosis, and repair, utilizing the expertise attained through ASE Certifications and/or years of automotive repair experience.

We are looking for Automotive Service Managers to assist in managing and directing all service department activities, with the primary focus of selling tires, automotive repair, and maintenance services. The Co-Manager position is a developmental leadership role. Midas is committed to training our associates and promoting from within the organization.

Responsibilities

As a Midas Automotive Service Manager, you will manage and direct all automotive and general service technicians in the operation of the shop, including:

  • Ensuring a safe, secure, and trustworthy work environment.
  • Developing personal growth opportunities.
  • Establishing strategic goals by gathering information from reporting documents.
  • Defining objectives, evaluating trends and options, choosing a course of action, and assessing outcomes.
  • Leading by example, managing, and training team members while aligning with our company's vision, purpose, core values, and employee creed.
  • Ensuring all policies and procedures are followed by employees.
  • Delivering exceptional customer service by listening and consulting with customers.
  • Overseeing vehicle inspections and making comprehensive recommendations, building computerized repair orders, and sourcing parts.
  • Discussing pricing estimates with customers and promoting shop service specials and financing options.
  • Monitoring the quality of all vehicles being signed out.
  • Supervising up to 10 employees successfully.
  • Managing inventory levels, product ordering, and receipt.
  • Maintaining a clean and organized work site.
  • Performing other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 2 years of store or service management experience.
  • General automotive knowledge.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Leadership and team-building abilities.
  • Ability to work flexible retail hours, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
  • Valid driver’s license.
