Focus: Direct Brand and Agency DOOH Sales

Location: New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Dallas-Fort Worth, Atlanta – Open to Remote (with potential for travel)

Position Type: Contract / Consultant (with potential to transition into full-time role)

Our supply-side inventory includes stadiums, arenas, and university digital screens, offering brands an unparalleled opportunity to connect with highly engaged Gen Z and Millennial audiences.

We are expanding our Ad Sales team and are seeking a high-potential, hungry, and driven Sales Leader who will focus on securing advertising deals directly from brands and agencies looking to run campaigns across VenuEdge's unique DOOH network.

Role Overview

As the Demand Generation Sales Leader (Advertising Brands & Agencies), you will be responsible for driving top-line ad revenue growth by developing, pitching, and closing advertising deals across VenuEdge’s DOOH network. You will work closely with brands, agencies, programmatic buyers, and media planners to promote VenuEdge’s differentiated value proposition.

This is a critical, high-visibility role where success will directly impact VenuEdge’s growth trajectory. We are seeking someone humble, hungry, and highly motivated-someone who is ambitious, scrappy, and eager to make their mark in the DOOH landscape.

Key Responsibilities

Brand and Agency Outreach & Direct Sales (Primary Focus)

  • Identify, target, and secure direct advertising deals from brands and agencies across verticals including Technology, CPG, Retail, Food & Beverage, Auto, Finance, Fashion, and Entertainment.
  • Conduct targeted outreach, strategic prospecting, sales presentations, and pitches to brand and agency decision-makers.
  • Educate advertisers on VenuEdge’s DOOH media opportunities, value proposition, and audience insights.
  • Expand and nurture a network of agency and brand-side relationships to generate sustainable ad revenue growth.

DOOH Sales Strategy Development

  • Develop territory plans, vertical-specific pitches, and strategic prospecting lists focused on maximizing early-stage revenue opportunities.
  • Work cross-functionally with AdOps, Product, and Marketing to align GTM messaging and media sales collateral.
  • Champion VenuEdge’s integration into programmatic platforms (like Vistar) to unlock new demand from aggregators and programmatic buyers.

Proposal Development, Negotiation & Closing

  • Own the entire sales process from lead generation through pitch, negotiation, and closing.
  • Structure direct deals and programmatic guaranteed/ private marketplace (PMP) deals tailored to brand KPIs.
  • Build compelling proposals, client presentations, and ROI projections based on advertiser objectives and VenuEdge audience insights.

Campaign Execution and Client Management

  • Work with the internal AdOps team to ensure successful execution of advertising campaigns.
  • Provide proactive campaign updates and post-campaign reporting to advertisers.
  • Ensure high client satisfaction and drive upsells, renewals, and long-term partnerships.

Weekly Activity Reporting

Provide weekly reports detailing:

  • Brands and agencies contacted.
  • Active conversations and meetings.
  • Deals in pipeline and closed.
  • Forecasted and booked revenue amounts.

Market Intelligence and Networking

  • Stay informed on DOOH trends, programmatic buying advancements, competitive landscapes, and market dynamics.
  • Attend major industry events (e.g., DPAA, Adweek, DOOH events) to represent VenuEdge and build new demand relationships.

Key Qualifications & Experience

Required Experience

  • 5+ years of DOOH or digital media sales experience, preferably with brand direct and agency-side relationships.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding advertising sales targets.
  • Deep understanding of programmatic DOOH, direct buying, PMP/guaranteed deals, and media planning cycles.
  • Experience selling into key verticals: Fashion & Apparel, Technology & Electronics, Food & Beverage, Entertainment & Media, Health & Wellness.
  • Strong existing brand & agency relationships with access to network of direct and programmatic advertisers.

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Business, Communications, or related fields preferred.

  • Base Retainer + Aggressive Commission Structure.
