Food Lion in Durham seeks an experienced Store Manager to lead total store operations, drive financial and sales goals, and foster strong associate and customer relations. You will promote a culture aligned with our Guiding Principles and ensure safety, security, and food safety at the highest level.

Responsibilities include implementing initiatives, controlling assets, and developing staff while maintaining compliance with laws and company policies.

Qualifications

• College graduate or equivalent preferred.
• Solid understanding of store operations required.
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, communication and customer service skills.
• Ability and willingness to learn multiple tasks and technical requirements of the job.
• Ability to use technical information to solve problems.
• Ability to lead and direct others.
• Must meet minimum age requirements to perform specific job functions.
• Must be able to meet the physical requirements of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Accreditation as a Certified Food Safety Manager or plan to obtain within 90 days of employment.
