Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• One year of management experience in a retail environment preferred.
• Demonstrates knowledge of cash handling and reporting processes.
• Familiarity with inventory management and merchandising practices.
• Ability to read and interpret diagrams, safety rules, and procedures manuals.

Responsibilities

• Manage all employees in planning and implementing store processes (ordering, receiving, stocking, presentation and selling).
• Recruit, select and retain qualified employees in compliance with laws and policies.
• Train staff and conduct performance evaluations; address gaps and counseling if needed.
• Open/close the store with adequate staffing and ensure security and safety.
• Monitor sales, profitability, inventory and shrink; adjust ordering as needed.
• Ensure accurate cash handling and cashier accountability.
