Job summary

Circle K Stores Inc. in Pittsburgh seeks an experienced Store Manager to lead a busy urban convenience store. You will supervise 2+ full-time staff, hire and train, ensure customer service, manage inventory, and oversee safety procedures.

Reports are prepared in Workday and cash controls are maintained. This role requires strong communication, organizational, and financial-analysis skills, plus a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent plus 1 to 2 years of retail work experience preferred.
• Ability to supervise and train for the use of equipment, tools and materials listed in the CSR, LSR and SA job descriptions.
• Ability to supervise and manage the functions listed in the CSR, LSR and SA job descriptions.
• Ability to use computer, or acquire those skills necessary to use a computer at the store, which includes completion and analysis of reports, inventory control, cash control, employment related forms, etc.
• A valid driver’s license and dependable transportation.
• Ability to have open availability.
• Ability to communicate (orally and in writing) in English.
• Ability to perform essential duties and physical functions described above.

Responsibilities

• Directly supervises the activities of 2 or more full-time employees.
• Recruits, hires and trains employees to ensure customer service.
• Develops tasks to keep the store clean, stocked, organized and well-kept.
• Schedules employees to maximize customer service and store image.
• Maintains professional image among staff and supervisors.
• Analyses daily sales and expenses to maximize profits.
