Job summary

Ross Stores is seeking a Store Manager to lead all aspects of store operations, drive sales, manage the leadership team, and coach associates to deliver excellent customer service. This is an on-site position requiring evenings and weekend availability. Ideal candidates have extensive retail management experience, strong leadership and communication skills,

Qualifications

• Five or more years of store management experience in a retail environment.
• Must maintain a high level of customer service.
• Ability to lead, manage, motivate and communicate with store associates at all levels.
• Ability to train, coach and develop associates at all levels.
• Ability to organize and prioritize tasks and develop schedules to achieve results.
• Fluency in English.
• Independent judgement and discretion in daily operations.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Direct supervision of Assistant Store Manager, Area Supervisors and all retail associates.
• Lead store operations to meet company standards and profitability.
• Recruit, train and develop leadership and staff to reduce turnover.
• Manage payroll, scheduling, and expenses within budget.
• Ensure customer service and merchandise presentation standards.
• Enforce safety, loss prevention and regulatory compliance.
