Job summary

Ross Stores is seeking a Store Manager to lead all aspects of store operations, from frontline sales to stockroom and front-end functions. You will recruit, train and develop Assistant Store Managers, Area Supervisors and Associates while ensuring a friendly shopping environment and adherence to company standards.

Qualified candidates will have five+ years of retail store management, strong customer service focus, English fluency, and the ability to lead teams, manage schedules and payroll, and

Qualifications

• Five or more years of Store management experience in a retail environment.
• Must maintain a high level of Customer service.
• Must demonstrate the ability to lead, manage, motivate and communicate positively to Store Associates.
• Ability to train, coach and develop Associates.
• Ability to organize and prioritize tasks necessary to accomplish goals, develop a schedule to complete tasks and execute to achieve results.
• Fluency in English.
• Must exercise considerable independent judgement and discretion.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Leads all Store operations to meet Company standards and best practices.
• Oversees payroll administration and Associate scheduling compliance.
• Recruits, hires, trains and develops store leadership and non-exempt staff.
• Ensures compliance with all applicable policies and regulations.
• Manages customer service, merchandise presentation and loss prevention programs.
