Job summary

Family Dollar in Cincinnati is seeking a Store Manager to lead associates, drive store sales, and ensure a superior shopping experience. You will oversee operations, train staff, protect assets, and build community partnerships while complying with laws and company policies.

This role requires strong communication, retail management experience, and the physical ability to lift up to 40 lbs. continuously and occasional 55 lbs. as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to focus on results and build strong relationships with team members is required.
• Excellent communication skills are required.
• Retail management experience is preferred.
• Ability to regularly lift up to 40 lbs. (ocassionally 55 lbs.) from floor level to above shoulder height is required.
• Ability to handle frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee all aspects of business operations to maximize sales and profitability.
• Oversee and delegate all store activities to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Lead, train, and develop store associates to foster a culture of growth.
• Provide every customer with a positive and enjoyable shopping experience.

• Ensure full compliance with applicable laws and regulations, while enforcing company policies and procedures.
