BoxLunch is seeking a Store Manager in Merced, CA to lead a passionate retail team and drive sales with customer-first selling. You’ll recruit, mentor, and engage customers, while partnering with HQ to respond to trends and feedback.

You will oversee operations, shrink, payroll, scheduling, and merchandising, ensuring on-brand experiences and timely promos that boost engagement and revenue.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of retail store management experience.
• 18+ years of age to join the team.
• High school diploma or GED; degree is a plus.
• Strong communication, recruiting, and operations skills.

Responsibilities

• Meet or exceed sales plans and comp sales goals.
• Recruit, develop, and retain a collaborative team.
• Lead customer engagement through social media and clienteling.
• Maintain an operational balance with structure, delegation, and customer-first selling.
• Monitor shrink, payroll hours, schedules, and external factors.
• Communicate with retail leadership and HQ on trends and feedback.
• Run sales reports and use data to guide strategy.
